The Stefan Boltzmann Apparatus is planned to ascertain the Stefan Boltzmann constant. The equipment consists of a hemisphere set to a back-elite sheet. The outer opencast of which makes the jacket to heat it.
The Hot water for the heating of hemisphere is acquired from a heater in hot water tank that is set above the hemisphere. The copper test disk is presented at the middle part of hemisphere. The temperatures of test discs and hemisphere are measured with the assistance of temperature indicator as well as thermocouples. A timekeeper is given for measuring the temperature of disc at a time interval of 5 seconds.
